MW Monitor WFH

Employee device monitoring notice

Monitor WFH collects company-laptop inventory and security information to support remote-work operations, software licensing, asset management, and security compliance.

Information collected

The Windows agent reports device identity, assigned employee, OS and hardware details, installed applications and executable paths, antivirus and firewall status, update status, connected USB storage, and agent health. Running-process collection is optional and disabled by default. When the screenshot policy is explicitly enabled and employee consent is recorded, an authorized administrator may request current desktop screenshots or a short sequence of refreshed frames. The macOS inventory agent reports device identity, hardware, OS version, installed applications, and sync health; it does not collect screenshots, processes, or USB activity.

Use and access

Screen captures are available only to Admin accounts, are requested on demand, are audited, and are automatically deleted after the configured retention period. Other views, exports, assignments, and policy changes are also recorded in the audit log.

Your acknowledgement

Your organization should provide its legal basis, retention period, contact details, and any local employee rights before deployment. On Windows, the employee may acknowledge this notice during interactive agent setup; the server records that acknowledgement after the first successful sync. An authorized HR or Admin user may also record it in the employee profile. Silent installation does not record consent or enable screen capture.
